Regular scarf:
20cm (8") wide
188cm (74") long
Infinity scarf:
20cm (8") wide
94cm (37") long after attaching ends together
GAUGE
13 sts and 16 rows to 10cm (4") measured over the four rows of the pattern.
YARN
We Are Knitters petite wool yarn, pictured in spotted grey and wine. 2 balls.
RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
8mm/US 11 needles.
For the infinity version you will need 1 extra needle that is 8mm or larger.

This pattern is reversible, so there is no right or wrong side.
If you want to make the infinity version but don't want to do the provisional cast on and 3 needle bind off, simply make the regular scarf and sew the ends together.
PATTERN
For the regular scarf: CO 26.
For the infinity scarf: CO 26 using a provisional cast on.
Row 1: (K1, P1) until end of row
Row 2: (K1, P1) until end of row
Row 3: (P1, K1) until end of row
Row 4: (P1, K1) until end of row
Repeat these 4 rows until the scarf is 188cm.
For the regular scarf: BO all stitches
For the infinity scarf: Remove waste yarn from cast on and put stitches on an 8mm needle. Make sure both needles are pointing in the same direction. Using the third needle, cast off using a 3 needle bind off.
Finishing
Sew in ends.
